Review
The colour, as you would expect is a dark black. The head is a creamy thick off white colour.
There is a deep stunning chocolate aroma when you take that first smell, with almost ‘marmite’ tones.
The flavour is very similar to the smell. A deep earthy taste, with not so subtle hints of chocolate, coffee and bread. The finish is very warm and long.
I’m a huge fan of porters and stout so it is no surprise to me that I enjoyed this beer, especially on a cold night.
TIP: Goes very well with a Clarks Pie
