An unusually red coloured beer, blending the ‘red ale traditions’ of the North East and Ireland with a hint of Welsh Flair. A selection of unusual hops provide the bite to compliment the biscuity malt characteristics of this exceptionally smooth and easy drinking beer.

Pours a light red copper colour with a good strong foamy head.
The initial aroma is that of a sweet malt, with hints of caramel and toffee.
The taste is similar to the aroma, with the malty caramel notes hitting you first. Then there are biscuity, nutty flavours with subtle grassy, floral hoppy hints.
The hoppiness depth continues into the sharp finish.
Quite an easy quaffable drink. A nice good standard, somewhat old fashioned ale
